Lexington, MA – Spectacle Management is proud to present An Afternoon with Garrison Keillor on Sunday, May 20 at 3pm at Lexington’s Cary Memorial Hall. One of the most prolific American storytellers of all time, Garrison Keillor is a writer and humorist best known as the long-time host of the popular live radio variety show, A Prairie Home Companion. Tickets for An Afternoon with Garrison Keillor on Sunday, May 20 at 3pm are $59-$89 and go on sale Friday, August 4 at 10am at www.caryhalllexington.com or by calling 617-531-1257.

GARRISON KEILLOR
Keillor is also the host of the daily radio and online program, The Writers Almanac, and the editor of several anthologies of poetry, most recently, Good Poems: American Places. A best-selling author, he has published more than two dozen books, including Lake Wobegon Days, The Book of Guys, Pilgrims, Guy Noir and the Straight Skinny, and Homegrown Democrat. In 2006, Keillor played himself alongside a cast that included Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin and Kevin Kline, in the critically acclaimed film adaptation of A Prairie Home Companion, directed by Robert Altman.

With Grammy, ACE, and George Foster Peabody awards, Keillor has also been honored with the National Humanities Medal, and election to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

CARY MEMORIAL HALL
The Cary Memorial Building is a historic structure located in Lexington Center at 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. The Cary Memorial Building, named for Isaac Harris Cary, was built in 1928 with a donation from his two daughters. The Colonial styled building, with its grand auditorium, has provided the community with a year-round site for musical programming and popular events for eighty years and is home to the Lexington Symphony.  The building is handicapped accessible, and is fully air-conditioned. www.caryhalllexington.com
